Nagoya Protocol for Newbies

The Nagoya Protocol for Newbies

Get the basics at our online event

Have you ever heard of the Nagoya Protocol? If you are doing research with biological material in the European Union (excluding human DNA), you need to understand the basics of the Nagoya Protocol.

On 27 April 2021, the German Nagoya Protocol HuB will be hosting an online event, “The Nagoya Protocol for Newbies”, together with the European Virus Archive.

At this interactive online event, we’ll go step by step through what researchers need to know about the Nagoya Protocol. You’ll hear about the user checks that have already started in the EU and why Nagoya Protocol compliance matters for publishing in scientific journals. We’ll point out useful tools and tips and, of course, there will be plenty of time for you to get involved and ask questions. You can see the agenda here.

You can register for the event HERE using our online registration form. Please note that you must click on the link in the confirmation email in order to complete the registration. It is an open event so anyone can register.
