Nagoya Bites
A podcast all about the Nagoya Protocol
The GNP HuB has a podcast! The new series “Nagoya Bites” is meant to help researchers in the academic sector in Germany with understanding their obligations arising from the implementation of the Nagoya Protocol – that means rules about access and benefit-sharing (ABS) as well as compliance. Former GNP HuB Manager Elizabeth Karger dives into a variety of topics surrounding the Nagoya Protocol with expert guest. In the first episode, she spoke to the head of the Nagoya Unit at the BfN about user checks. The second episode has just been published where the Nagoya Protocol Officer of Kiel University, Dr. Scarlett Sett, explains how the university developed its compliance strategy and how she supports researchers with fulfilling their ABS obligations.
